Where would I go to find “private” companies who write grant purposals?
I have a friend looking to start a business that will benefit disabled children,adults and at risk children and he is looking for only “private” companies who specialize in writing grant purposals to obtain funding…Where would he find these companies who write these grant purposals?
If you are looking for grant writing companies, I suggest you check the American Association of Grant Professionals — they have a state by state listing of grant writers and grant writing companies. These are experienced grant writers that you can tap to help your new foundation get grant funding
However, you stand to receive more grants if you organize your organization as a non profit, and not as a for-profit business as it is sooo much easier to get grant monies if you are a non profit.
