Is there anyone I can call about student grants?

student grants

I want to talk to an actual person who can help me with Pell grants, schooling, career choices, etc. Councelors in colleges just try to get you to go to their school, but I want some un-biased help.

Actually, the college was able to send me a list of available grants and loans that were available to me and all I had to do was select which grants I wanted to accept and sign, and send back. You have to go through the financial aid department of your selected college.

you can go to and look up contact information for agencies in your state that deal with grants. you can also talk to your high school counselor. you should not be afraid to talk to financial aid officers in a few different colleges so you can get a few perspectives.

Call the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-433-3243 and ask them anything about grants – they are a government agency and will give you an unbiased opinion about grants
