If they were, I'd be in your situation. So you need money to complete this semester? You have two options. 1)Federal loans from your school--not credit based, so anyone can get them, no matter what your credit is. The downside is, they can sometimes take forever to prcoess--the first one I got took a few MONTHS. I applied in January and finally got money in April! 2)private loans that don't require school certification I think are the way to go for you, because you'll receive your money MUCH faster. However, most ARE credit based, so if you don't have good credit you will need to find a coborrower. A good one is the Education Maximizer through Bank of America. Good luck!
