when allen greenspan changed the interest rates to rise on home loans to stop inflation he was obviously wrong..when he was replaced, the interest rates based on prime started to decline to prevent stagflation.as of now, where do think the prime rate will go…higher to stop inflation or lower to create stagflation?

What is the best way to advertise my business to mortgage companies and loan officers. I have a website now, but other than that, what is the best bang for my buck when it comes to advertising methods.

stable property value ensure demand for it. Prompt repayments of monthly instalments by mortgagors also enhance the property value and demand. Banks can also create new loans to house buyers. And preventing a bubble in the housing market.
Why is it important to ensure that the property value and loan repayment is promptly paid?

I know APR loans are a bad idea, but how would an interest-only loan work? Would it still be a 30 year note, or do they extend the loan? Would I be able to get a fixed rate with an interest-only mortgage loan?

First I don’t understand why banks would loan money to someone with bad credit or not having the means to repay. Second I don’t understand why investment companies like Bears Stearns would repurchase the loans from the banks. Securitize them and sell them as bonds. What are they learning at these prestigious business schools? How to be a licensed crook? The credit rating agencies are seem to be payed by not assigning the proper credit ratings. The country is falling apart because people don’t have the discipline to live within there means. Greed is running rampant.

I want to build a small house in a rural area but I am single and don’t make a lot of money. Are there any special lower-interest loans available that I might qualify for?

(If students can get scholorships for school I was thinking there might be special programs out there to help people to buy/build homes. This would not be my first home so I guess I wouldn’t qualify for Fannie Mae)

I’m a mortgage loan officer. I need to find my my own clients to refinance, purchase or invest. I can do loan almost anywhere but first I need to find the clients (LOL). I’ve been cold calling but I haven’t had any luck yet. PLEASE HELP ME.

I have two loans- 441,000.00 and 77,000.00. House is only worth about 520,000.00. I need to get out of it asap. Can I offer the lender of the second mortgage some money to get out of it before I do a short sale on the first? I was thinking about $1000 to $5000. Thanks! I need all the answers I can get.
I owe 520k, it may only sell for that amount if I’m lucky, definitely not more. Can I please have people with experience in this answer the question. I’ve read that in some short sales, the second mortgagee gets zero.

Im looking to attract more clients and I was wondering for any loan officers who have done it, if putting in a 3 lined ad in a 200k circulated paper might be good for attracting promising clients. If so whats the guestimated number of calls that you have recieved from putting it in the sunday edition, and what are some reccomended tips on whats to say in the ad? “We will work with you”? “100% FHA financed”?

I’m in the mortgage business, and I’m curious how the general public feels about today’s rates and ability to get a decent loan.
