are no income verification loans, still beig offered for home mortgages? or have they tighted that option up?

I have a very basic question. I am an NRI living in the US.
Is it possible to take a home loan in the US(from a US bank or institute) for a house/property in India?

We have Greentree Financial for the loan on our mobile home and we have nothing but trouble. They are very rude and disrespectful. I wanted to know if anyone else was having this trouble with this company.

Last I heard, George Bush passed a law regarding interest rates for home loans. Can someone explain to me?

My wife and I are young college graduates, and with the falling housing market, home ownership is looking better and better. We live in NW Wisconsin, where a decent home will cost you $115,000 – My question is this; how does the cost of taxes play into this? The average home tax around here is $1500 – $2,000 / year here. Does this mean that our loan of say $100,000 becomes $160,000 ($2k/yr/30yr)

What kind of home loans can I get? My FICO is around 730 at all the credit bureaus. I live in Los Angeles and want to buy a condo in the Hollywood Hills in the $600k range. I make $100k a year. Do you think I will get approved for $600k?

The amount requested for home loans followed the normal distribution with a mean of $70,000 and a standard deviation of $20,000
A. How much is requested on the largest 3 percent of the loans?
B. How much is requested on the smallest 10 percent of the loans?

What are the requirements for the two home loans?

Country wide lost my house payment this month. I sent the check to the southern california adress and they say it never arrived. Their customer service was very poor and they could care less that it was lost and said the post office is not their problem. Has anyone else had this problem with country wide home loans?
