Government Loan Grants

I am a 25 year old minority woman trying to open my own business. Are there any grants or government funding,other than loans, to help start up?

I understand that there are grants for women. And there are grants for aviation. But are there any for the combination… women in aviation?

I keep running into scams. I don’t want a book, CD Rom or DVD, I don’t want to pay shipping. I would like actual applications and resources to find real education grants for women returning to school. Can anybody help?

I want to make things on my own and sell them, and maybe if it takes off good hire a seemstress ect… but I need money to buy the materials and tools to make the stuff, basically I need a small business loan or a grant that I would not have to pay back on immediatly or ever. I’m a woman so I know sometimes the government gives special preferences to women trying to start businesses, does anyone have usefull info and links?? Thanks!

I once heard someone say that as an older single woman returning to school there was some type of a loan or grant available. Does anyone know anything about it?

I am looking to get a grant but every site I have found just runs me in circles and then wants me to send them money for documents that I was told should be free.

I have checked all the supposed grants lists that you have to purchase and most of the grants available to women owned business are not for start-ups. They appear to be for tools once you are already in business, like money to pay an IT person or accountant if you need it. SBA has a 10,000.00 microloan that you still have to have good credit to get for a start up but I will need about 20,000.00 total. I can try to get a tax id number but even that would be New credit which can be worse than no credit. Anyone have this as a specialty or gone through this same situation lately?

I was told being a women I am a minority and there are grants available to me. There is such a vast amount of information on the web i was wondering if someone was able to narrow my search.

I heard that the government gives a lot of grants to women starting their own business’s does anybody know how i should go about getting one.

I tried the banks first , insuficiant tax information. I also put an ad in the paper looking for investors. I have everything to open except the money for the building and the licencing. What other options do I have , I have kept up on my Artist licience . But have run out of money.

“They” say it’s easy to be a female business owner because of the grants you can get and tax breaks you get. Yet noone has been able to tell me how I can get into this ellusive world.
