Government Loan Grants

I have a business but as any business it is hard to run especially since it has been started not too long ago. It is a successful venture, but I am strapped for cash. I live in Ontario, Canada. Would anyone know if there are any grants or low interest loans available from Ontario Government?

I have a fairly large amount of student loans and I’m interested in researching government grants. I’m also very interested in researching governemnt grants for starting a business. I’d like to rehab property and provide (quality) affordable housing for low income Americans, any advice?

Are there certain grants that may help a single mom start a business more than others? Does it matter or not that I am a single mom who wants to start a bus, or can any loan or grant apply to me?

I graduated highschool 1.5 years early, so I will not be 18 until November freshman year of college (Fall 2007). My cost of attendance, etc. is a little over $30,000 per year. After all the government loans, grants, and scholarships, I still need about $10,000. My parents cannot afford to contribute anything, and they do not have good enough credit to cosign (and wouldn’t anyways). I am working but there is no way I will make that kind of money. I keep recieving things in the mail about private lenders like campusdoor.com or even banks, but they all require you to be 18! This is very important to me, I need to go to college THIS FALL. I will call the financial aid office too, but if any of you have ideas i would LOVE to hear them.

My fiancee and I are exploring the idea of starting our own real estate investing company. We are currently working on a business plan to submit for a business loan or grant. Does anyone have any good resources for finding available business grants from the government for starting a small business in real estate?

I know there are plenty of advertisements out there for companies that offer to find applicable grants for a hefty fee. We are not interested in those.

want to try to find money to start new business. have never tried before so dont know where to start. any sites would be helpful. please no third party or finder company sites……if i had money to pay them wouldnt need grant

I mean if its a federal or state grant or loan for a student or personal resons shouldn’t the state or federal government supply that knowledge to the public? Why do only certain companies have these list of available funds and how do they get away with charging for this public information?

I’ve heard there are grants like that for ppl going back to school and I’m planning on (finally) going back to school full time this september :). I’m going for computer networking, so obviously I need my own computer lol. Has anyone ever gotten one of these kinds of grants/loans?? Where can I apply? Are there books that will show me different loans like these?

Grants for women starting new businesses? I’d like to start my own business, but have POOR credit. Is it easy to get Gov’t Grants or business loans? what are the loan ranges?

My boyfriend and I are trying to get his company a boost for his backhoe purchase so he can start work for himself. Of course his credit isn’t the best and we have no seed money or investors at the moment. The business plan is drawn up and everything has been priced and we even have pending contracts, but we can’t get a loan to get it started. I have faith in the operation, but he is fading fast I need some light at the end of the tunnel for him to see if you have any ideas on where to turn or what to try please let me know. I have heard that there is money available, it just needs to be found. I live in texas, I am 25 and probably will be considered to be low income (I make about 12000 a year) but I am single with no children, so I know that doesnt really help things. Anyways, if you have any info on where I can look for these, let me know. Thanks!!!

But my best friend works for the government and they really do have government loans for free. The problem is you have to either hire someone or figure out how to write the government for the grant and I heard this can be very difficult. Does anyone have any insight to grant writing?
