Government Loan Grants

i am interested in finding out more about grants given to women starting up their own business in western ny. anyone know more about this ? where would i begin to look ?

I’m trying to get a small business grant and like every site that I’ve found is a scam. Does anyone know of like real places that give grants to people that want to start up there own small business. I want to open like an in home kitchen where I can deliver homemade food and stuff.

I had always heard this and then took a business class, where the instructor said that was a huge myth. Especially the woman part. He said there are but usually they have to do with the military.

I have done advertising for small papers for the past 4 years off and on. I am wanting to start a business where people that dont have the time/expierence to advertise for themselves can contact me. I already have the computer and fax, its just a matter of getting a business name and getting registered with the government. I figure if i can get a small business grant that would be great!! any comments would be greatly appreicated. If anyone wants to see any of the ads I have done the last year just let me know and I can email them.

I’ve looked everywhere for these types of grants, but can’t find them. They offer grants for everything else, so why not business grants?
