Where can I get grants to write books with no cost to me (a new and aspiring author)?
I’m looking for legitimate online resources for grants available for unpublished writers. I’m willing to send in a healthy example of my work, but I need help in sorting through all of the get-rich-quick schemes that seem to want little more than your money. After a great deal of search I’ve found that most of these sites available online are scams, and I’m looking for a serious opportunity to stay at home and make writing my life – without starving, that is. If anyone has any information about where I might go, please provide links and or tips. I would very much appreciate any leads.

Where can I find grants available to women-owned businesses?
Me and my sisters want to start a business but are finding it tough to find places that offer grants to women who want to start their own business. Does anyone know a REAL place (not a scam) that provides assistance?

Do I really need to write a thank-you note for scholarships and grants awarded to me?
My mom says “yes”. I say “no” and many other people back me up here. Who’s right in the situation?
Do I really need to write a thank-you note to my college for giving me a $40,000 grant when my parents still owe them $80,000? Or should I be thanking them for robbing my parents blind?
Do I need to thank my town and my parents’ church for both giving me general scholarships?

looking for first time business grants that are not scams, where do i look?
I have had a lot of badluck in trying to find the sites or locations of governmental agencies to apply for federal grants to start a first time buisness. I know they exist but everyone I have tried to contact on this subject has been a scam to buy the information with no way to know how acurate that information is.
i am a female that has never had a grant with bad credit but i am an expert in my field.

Should I open a formal dress boutique? Any information on small business grants?
I am considering opening a formal dress boutique in a small town. I am wondering if anyone has advice or pointers for me. Also, does anyone have any information on small business grants that I could obtain? Any information will be greatly appreciated.
