Government Loan Grants

I am interested in taking some business/computer/communications courses and would like to do it online, but I am not sure if student loans and grants will help pay for these.

Im trieng to get a grant or a loan for a house without using the internet does anyone know how to go about getting one

I’ve heard there are grants like that for ppl going back to school and I’m planning on (finally) going back to school full time this september :). I’m going for computer networking, so obviously I need my own computer lol. Has anyone ever gotten one of these kinds of grants/loans?? Where can I apply? Are there books that will show me different loans like these?

(woman) business? I understand these programs exist for immigrants, but what about native born US Citizens? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My mother makes too much (70K+/yr gross income) for me to be able to get state grants (Washington State), and I am curious if I were to break free of being a dependent student that it would help me out by decreasing my “household” income. I figure that I could get married to a girl in the same situation and perhaps make things easier on myself. I have been living in my own apartment for two and a half years, so I would say that I have my own established residency, but I am truly clueless. Having good grades and being self-sustaining through work and loans make it feel like I should be receiving some kind of assistance. I work way to hard I believe to not be getting some support. Alternatively, if there is advice for people trying to make their way through school, while making excellent grades at a private college that doesn’t offer scholarships, then that would be appreciated too! Thank you!

Where do I find them?

I just did the whole Financial Aid thing but the admissions guy hasn’t told me how much they are gonna cover. Is it time to start applying for the grants and loans? If so which ones are the best and pay out the most?

Grants for women starting new businesses? I’d like to start my own business, but have POOR credit. Is it easy to get Gov’t Grants or business loans? what are the loan ranges?

My boyfriend and I are trying to get his company a boost for his backhoe purchase so he can start work for himself. Of course his credit isn’t the best and we have no seed money or investors at the moment. The business plan is drawn up and everything has been priced and we even have pending contracts, but we can’t get a loan to get it started. I have faith in the operation, but he is fading fast I need some light at the end of the tunnel for him to see if you have any ideas on where to turn or what to try please let me know. We are currently looking into government grants which is about as much pain as trying to get a loan. All advice is welcome. Thank you.

before I get a huge loan to a four year university, I want to know if there is money specifically for me, since I was recently laid off and on unemployment.

Yes i recieved a 1098A or w/e the form is the college sends you and it says in box 2 i paid 2700 dollars on tuition and fees and i recieved 2000 dolars on scholarships and grants i am just wondering if I can use that amount for my tax refund when i file my taxes and i can recieve the higher education tax break. I am 18 and I am single and NO ONE else can claim me as a dependent… THank you
