I have been looking for government grants toward home loans.?

government loan grants

I have heard that there is money available, it just needs to be found. I live in texas, I am 25 and probably will be considered to be low income (I make about 12000 a year) but I am single with no children, so I know that doesnt really help things. Anyways, if you have any info on where I can look for these, let me know. Thanks!!!

This is Janet back regarding the government grants. First off, I do know that most of these are scams?

But my best friend works for the government and they really do have government loans for free. The problem is you have to either hire someone or figure out how to write the government for the grant and I heard this can be very difficult. Does anyone have any insight to grant writing?

Please help; this is very important to me? Question about enrollment and government grants?

government loan grants

I asked this question about 20 minutes ago, but am very desperate for an answer as soon as possible (no one is available to speak with me at the university right now as it is closed). Okay, so here goes (and I really appreciate whoever may read all of this and try to respond):
I am a full-time college student. I have already received grants from the government to cover this year’s enrollment fees. I am also filing taxes stating that I am a full-time student. There are two months left in the semester and I want to drop one of my classes that I am going to fail, thus taking away my full-time student status and deeming me a part-time student for the rest of this semester.
The question: Will this affect my government loans? They can’t take the money back that they have already awarded me (I’m assuming), but will there be some sort of penalty? Also, will this affect my tax return? Do I need to mention that I was a part-time student for two months? Does it even matter?

THANK YOU! :D

Can I get funding help / student grants as an adult student?

student grants

I want to go back to college to train for a diploma in nursery nursing so I can get the highest qualification to work in childcare. It is a full time course – but I would be an adult student as I will be 28………do the government help with funding at all or grants as how will I pay the bills at the same time…..the course takes up the whole week so no time for a part time job.
